Join our amazing team of Boot Campers and make that change you’ve always wished for.
I joined ABC for several reasons – after having my 2 children I’d gained lots of weight and also developed slightly higher blood pressure than normal. And I knew I was unfit. I started regular brisk walking last year and although that helped, it was getting boring and I still needed more of an all round fitness – but without going to the gym ! (I’ve wasted hundreds of pounds on gym memberships over the years !) ABC is exactly what I was looking for.
The instructors are motivated and upbeat, creating a fun atmosphere to get fit in. I’ve met some really lovely people, and my clothes are definitely feeling looser .
DS Eaton & Radley, came to the rescue with Action Boot Camp last year when I joined aged 45 and about three stone overweight. It was a chance to meet like minded people, get fitter, lose some weight, get some fresh air and have some fun in the meantime. Not once have I done the same routine twice or come away from a session with a negative attitude, you make the sessions what you want, push yourself as hard as you can and the difference in body shape is soon evident. Everyone I have met struggles with part of the routines no matter how fit they look and everyone is so supportive.
I am one of the more “maturer cadets” at Action Boot Camp but none the less I get down and dirty with the rest of them. I find gyms can also be a very solitary place to exercise but at Action Boot Camp you feel part of a team. The sessions are varied, hard, challenging but fun. DS Easton and the rest of his team are always encouraging us, ensuring we’re getting the most from the sessions but not pushing you past your limitations.
I joined ABC after having my baby and I was a size 16. It took a lot of hard work and determination but I followed their diet and worked out hard at least 3 times a week. Eventually the weight started to drop off of me and I went from a size 16 to a 10. I’m about to run my first marathon and Eaton and Radley even let me bring Flossie with me to boot camp in the mornings which was a brilliant help. Thank you guys, I’ve never been this thin x![EMMAF4AFTERDONE[1]](http://www.actionbootcamp.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/EMMAF4AFTERDONE1.jpg)
Always hated exercise till I started bootcamp at Woodthorpe over a year ago, now Arnot Hill. Never known so much pain after the first session
but decided to carry on going. Haven’t been much in the past few weeks – shoulder problems but will be back tomorrow. I agree with Doolan…great bunch that go to Arnot Hill.
I was attracted by the groupon deal in January this year. Had no idea what to expect. Found the first session in Bridgford Park in January pretty tough…I couldn’t walk for 3 days afterwards! Would never have thought doing press ups in the mud would be fun…but guess what…it is! Still coming 1 year later!
I felt very fat! Been well ovr a yr….and still quite alot of us from back in the day….now known as the arnot hill crew…luv um all my week wouldn’t be the same without the banter….oh and the exercise x
Febuarary this year i think, groupon deal, missed East leake as I could not find it, then went to Arnold, with my Daughter, but with work and travel she cant make it. I love it dont do enough of it, but at least i am doing 1 a week!
My first was with Brenda Alexander-Thompson face down in snow and mud in Bridgford park last winter! We never stopped laughing as Eaton kept shouting at us – it was a fab feeling and a brilliant way to get fit and dirty!!
First bootcamp I did was 6 years ago. Every Saturday at 7am in Bangkok. Had to finish by 8 when they played the national anthem and you have to stand to attention. Can’t see that catching on in east Leake!! I used to cycle there – must have been insane!
I was talked in to it back in April by 4 work mates!! 3 lasted 4 sessions one 8 and I’m still here though I’ve been absent of late….can’t wait to get back!! If it wasn’t for Radley I wouldn’t have been spurred on to study and qualify myself! Thanks guys, can’t wait too be back x
Started boot camp with Colin Kane 7 weeks ago! I can only describe my first session as a shock – I think at one point I didn’t know where I was hahaha. I was in pain for a week and decided to go back for more lol…. over the weeks my muscles are now recovering quicker and I LOVE IT! Would recommend it to anyone as it has boosted my confidence, feel fitter and healthier, I get a real buzz from it and it makes you feel alive. I especially love the Kettlebell and boxing workouts! Cheers guys!
X
I was talked in to it by a work friend. Think she managed about 4 sessions and I’m still here 18 months later. Best thing I could have ever done. Finally I’ve found a form of exercise I really enjoy and my body and fitness levels are really beginning to notice. I’ve made some really great friends…. Oh and obviously the opportunity to rib Paul Paul Eaton 3 times a week is fantastic motivation in itself!
At wooodthorpe park on a summers evening with Hilary Taylor Kench thinking i was going to die and Eaton yelling ‘Is that tears I see….tears of joy’. Lasting the session and feeling the best I had felt for months that evening. First time I had the exercise endorphins kick in!
